Continuing the work of Palabuniyan Kulintang Ensemble, which was established by Master Danongan “Danny” Kalanduyan in 1988, the seasoned performers of San Francisco Kulintang Project perform regularly at public and private events in the San Francisco Bay Area, as well as statewide, nationally, and internationally.

Current members of the San Francisco Kulintang Project have performed and taught kulintang music workshops throughout the Western United States:

  • California, from San Diego to Los Angeles to Merced to San Jose to Santa Rosa
  • Alaska: Anchorage, Kodiak, Juneau, and Sitka
  • Hawaii: University of Hawaii at Manoa, and the Honolulu Museum of Art
  • Albuquerque, New Mexico
